Many are the plans in a person's heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

Long Overdue....Again

I must admit...with having my iPhone now; this blog has sort of lost my interest.  I can so easily post a quick photo collage on Instagram with a caption to remember some details or save to my phone that I email to myself to print later.  Not that I don't like sitting down to post but I'd rather my hands be forming the letters by hand than typing; a bit ole fashioned.

Well let's see....Papa is still down for the cooler weather that's getting too warm all of a sudden.
Everything is blooming, everywhere!  I love it...something that shows no life all winter sprouts green leaves and flowers in a matter of days.
All of you love to be outside; at least when its cold and not too hot.  There is something about being outside, enjoying God's workmanship energizes you.
We dyed Easter eggs a little earlier this year since we planned a camping trip.  No spills!  A first in our egg dyeing history!
And of course, camping!  There is also something about getting away from home that energizes you!

Now we share often together verses or songs that we find encouraging or learning through but I thought I'd share with you a song I've been energized by for a while...The Desert Song by Hillsong.  Jazz has said to me even this is your favorite song mama. :)  Also I've been coming back to the scripture in 1 Peter 1:6-9 often and finally it occurred to me the similarities; the refining through the fire.  I know God's spirit leads us.  You see then I thought I'd look to see if there was a story behind the song...who does that?  And one of the worship leaders lost her little baby a week before recording...her thoughts and emotions were some of those I felt "not feeling like praising the Lord" but as you do what starts as a feeling of lonesomeness turns into feelings of peace and surrender to Him.  I think this is relate-able for a lot of trials in life. Someday you may read this and need this...God will provide everything you need, He is always with you.

Oh I almost forgot Jazz got her license!  Jazz you are not really into the freedom driving brings...not that your dad and I are complaining!  Its been a month and you've yet to drive anywhere alone or even drive to McDonalds a mile away to get an ice cream with your sister.  But I'll cherish it while it lasts...I cannot believe my sweet baby Jasmine is almost a Junior!  I love you girlie!
