Many are the plans in a person's heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

So proud!

I am so proud of my family! They are AMAZING! Gideon is growing, growing, growing...he is a little man of few words but he mutters..."back" to go out into the backyard, mama, dad, "jaja" for Jocelyn, "nan-nan" for Jasmine, bug, bus-sort of-he loves to see his sisters get on and off the bus. :)

Jazz made varsity in CC--she is truly talented!

This past week her high school team won 1st and 2nd place at two different meets--yay! Joce was inducted into NJHS and is doing a great job as class president.

And finally, although my sweet hubby is now a journeyman mechanic...his union chose him as last year's apprentice of the year--I married one of the smartest men I know--he is a walking encyclopedia of so much information and can get any job done and if he doesn't know something he learns it, does it and tucks it away in his head for later...he amazes me! I love these people...God has truly blessed me!

In other news...Daddy and Jazz spent the weekend at an off-road racing event with Uncle Trevor and Ben. They had a fun time being V.I.P's. :)

And finally, my niece Elisabeth visited us from Seattle! It was so fun seeing her and meeting her friend Sara. Elisabeth is holding Gideon...

Bye Bye Piggytails, Hello Big Girl Styles!

I've always enjoyed styling the girls hair...from the time they had hair (they were born with a lot) to now! So we've been on a look out for new BIG girl styles. We've enjoyed styling with Adopt A Do and recently found a fantastic new site for more sophisticate looks at Hair Romance. These styles I think moms could easily pull off too! Check it out!

Another Busy Weekend

All week it seems time passes steadily with the occasional flurry of activity when all our family activities follow one after another. The weekends on the other hand seem to come and pass before we know it but loving every minute!

Jazz competed in her first cross country invitational on the high school level...she finished 16 out of 100+ girls--wow! I love the verse she posted onto her wall...Psalm 18:32-35 It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; He enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of victory, and Your right hand sustains me; You stoop down to make me great.

Get ready!

Get set!

Go!

Here she comes!

We also celebrated 2 birthdays as most of you know on Sun., September 11th...Happy Birthday Jazzie and Daddy!

Birthday buddies!

Besties

Oh and we had some fun with eye stickers that are meant for the balloons!

He'll eventually come around to our CrAziNess

And in closing we had a wonderful rain storm last night! We needed the rain and I love the fresh and clean feeling after the rain!

Sweet sisters!

Jazz and Gideon having some fun!

Weekend Fun!!!

This weekend past we took a drive over to Bass Pro Shop with Papa Tom, the girls, little man, hubby and my niece-Chloe. We had a super time! We looked around at the fish and animals....Gideon enjoyed every minute! The girls had fun at the shooting range too! As we were finishing up I ran into my sis-in-law Jo Ann...I hardly noticed her with her fantastic new hairdoo. :) After visiting for a few minutes with their family, we decided to head over Famous Dave's BBQ and Jason, Jo Ann, and their kids joined us--we were starving! So we wrapped up our time and headed to REI for a short stop to look at kayaks. My other brother, James, is a kayaker and Papa wanted to check out some of the kayaks my brother talks about. He is gearing up for a dip in the sound in Seattle--yikes, he is brave! We wrapped up our weekend washing trucks, putting out a few fall decorations and chimichanga dinner today with Papa Tome--FUN weekend!
