Many are the plans in a person's heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

Birthdays

Happy birthday to almost every person in my family! Uncle James Nov. 12, Papa Nov. 21, Mama and Uncle Jared Nov. 26, Auntie Sarah Nov. 28! This weekend past weekend had Papa over for a little celebrating of his 67th birthday-WOW!:) Little man also had his 6 month birthday this past Nov. 19th-WOW again! He is growing, growing, growing! Not really into "baby" foods so doc told me to give mashed table food a go-so far not exactly into it either but we will keep at it for sure. He is 15lbs 3oz and 25 3/4in--not at all a mammoth.
Mina has her last X-country meet this Monday and Joce her last game to cheer on Thursday of next week--will load photos as we wrap up these events soon. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Smartie Pants

Babies are so smart and learn so quick! Little man cannot fully do it alone but when entering a room he can turn on and off the lamp. I say turn on the light and he looks at the switch and reaches out his hand and the same when turning off...yes, I have been saying this to him since I could do the hip hold with him but still for him to know language and connect it is truly amazing! Here are a few photos to enjoy:) I know Joc is missing...update soon! Sleepy boy! One of our lovely girls--inside and out! Funny boy...he is experimenting with his "suckie" these days!

Talk, talk, talking at the dinner table...he has to get his two cents in with two big sisters:)

Get Back On That Train!

I love this photo...it is a sort of depiction of life don't you think? Sometimes we fall off the train or perhaps more accurately jump off on our own, tumbling to the ground all bruised and broken...then we realize our mistake and run like crazy to get back on that train! My train? Its the ultimate love train--God's love train! If I am riding His train--no good thing do I lack--for it is His love, His plan, His purpose, His peace...so whether you choose to jump or fall off unexpectantly...Get Back On That Train!

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

Trick or Treat

Our Trick or Treat weekend consisted of Daddy spending a lot of time working...his on-call rotation. So besides getting laundry washed, folded, and hung; we finished up costumes and spent a lot of time fiddle-faddling while Daddy caught a few zzzzz's after working through a few nights.

Everyone had a fun time trick or treating through my sister's neighborhood...the dad's take all the kids and us moms' get to pass out candy! :) Everyone came up with their own ideas except little man of course!

Lastly, I thought I'd show some seasonal decor photos of the most talented woman I know...my mama! With the exception of the spider (from a pattern), she created all the other wooden halloween decor herself...had an idea, found a drawing or created it herself, drew it out, cut, and painted! And of course my lil bro helped her with all the heavy lifting--he is posing above next to the 8' tree:) I am never surprised by her creations just amazed at how AWESOME they always look!
